Yes, that's right. The rats are very reasonable in Goa, especially during monsoon season. But we stayed at a rehab for free, and so we didn't even pay to sleep in leaky beach huts. The place that looks like a hurricane disaster area is a little beach resort that blew over in monsoon storms. The villa houses the rehab where we stayed. And the big white building is a church where the half decayed remains of Saint Francis Xavier are on display.
